The TIDES Method
A framework for returning to yourself again and again.
The TIDES Method is the guiding framework behind Sage My Soul experiences. It offers a simple rhythm for nervous system regulation, reflection, embodied practice, and sustainable change.
Healing is not linear. It is rhythmic.
Tune In
Begin with the body before the story.
Tuning in means noticing what is happening internally before rushing to fix, explain, judge, or override it. This may include breath, body sensations, emotional cues, protective patterns, parts of self, or nervous system states.
Invite
Create safety through curiosity.
Invitation is different from force. Instead of demanding change, we gently invite awareness, compassion, connection, and possibility.
Discover
Understand what your experience is trying to tell you.
Discovery allows us to explore patterns, stories, beliefs, values, attachment needs, emotional responses, and protective strategies with compassion.
Embody
Practice until insight becomes lived experience.
Information can create awareness, but experience creates transformation. Embodiment may include ritual, movement, communication practice, boundary setting, breath, mindfulness, creative expression, or small values-aligned actions.
Sustain
Return again and again.
Sustaining is the practice of creating rhythms, relationships, rituals, and environments that help us keep returning to ourselves. We do not heal once and for all. We return. We forget. We remember. We begin again.
Experience the TIDES Method in community.
The TIDES Method comes alive through Tide Circle, a weekly gathering where women practice regulation, reflection, ritual, and connection together.
